This week, Architectural Digest was welcomed into the home of Orville Peck, the masked country music singer who was originally born in Johannesburg, South Africa, but now resides in the States. While he never shows his face underneath is fringed mask, Peck was happy to give readers a tour of his home in Los Angeles filled with nods to queer identity and collection of 150 custom cowboy hats.
The rustic vibe of the home is extended throughout the home into the kitchen, which is made for someone who loves to cook with copper counters, a hard-working O’Keefe and Merritt oven, and a bench made to sit the perfect number of dinner guests. One wouldn’t expect a country singer to have a blush-toned velvet bed frame, but Orville Peck is a modern cowboy who doesn’t shy away from any form of personal expression, which you can see throughout the master bedroom.
