Rookie players take home volleyball trophy

The Under 13 Lantana Primary School girls team took home the trophy from this years’ Metro South Education District volleyball tournament.

The team won all their matches despite playing for the first time. On Saturday December 3, they won the semis and finals of the tournament, at Prince George Drive Primary School.

“We are excited to announce that the Lantana Primary School girls team were the winners of the tournament for 2022. We are extremely proud of our pupils. The girls were coached by DCAS coach Clint Stemmet and Jamie-Lee Moseling, grade 5 class teacher. Well done to the team and coaches, they have done their school proud,” said principal Venessa Berry.
