Heritage Day 10km race attracts thousands

Runners representing clubs across the city, take off at the start of last week's Heritage Day Race in Bridgetown.

Nantes Athletic Club held it's annual road race on Heritage Day, Wednesday, September 24, taking runners through the streets of Bridgetown and Silvertown. Last week's Heritage Day race drew a record entry of more than 2 200 participants, with Langa's Edward Jack and Ebeth Marais of Atlantic Athletic Club beating an experienced field of club runners to win the men's and women's categories respectively.
