Delft South Primary crowned provincial schools soccer champs

Delft South Primary's boys' under-13 squad did their school and the city proud when they were crowned provincial Kay Motsepe Cup champions in Beaufort West, at the weekend. DSP beat the Overberg's Zwelihle Primary 3-2 on penalties after playing to a 1-all draw, to lift the trophy.
Delft South Primary School's under-13 soccer team captain, Simphiwe Giwu, with the trophy in hand, and his team mates celebrate victory following their 1-0 win against Solomon Qatyana Primary, in last month's Kay Motsepe boys under-13 regional finals, in Bishop Lavis. At the weekend the squad was crowned provincial champions when they beat Zwelihle Primary School from the Overberg, to book their spot in next month's national finals.
