Promising gymnast wins gold at district competition

Paradigm Sports Academy's Meeka Mabee, 13, from  Portland and a Grade 7 pupil at Montagu Drive Primary, competed at Cape Town Gymnastics' Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) level 4+ District competition, at the Western Cape Sports School, in Kuils River, last Friday. In only her first competition after a two-year break from gymnastics, Meeka won gold in the floor routine, silver in vault, and finished second overall. Her next competition will be in Saldanha at the end of the month
