Enjoy the great outdoors, with an early morning trail run, or an evening hike to enjoy the setting sun.

Experience the magic of a Sunset to Full Moon Hike at Muratie Wine Estate tomorrow, Thursday November 14.

Starting from the Dirtopia Trail Centre, the 3.5km circular hike offers breathtaking views of Simonsberg, the Winelands, and Table Mountain.

Pack a picnic and enjoy a glass of Muratie wine at the lookout point as the sun sets and the full moon rises.

Hikers are encouraged to arrive from 5.15pm, but by 6.15pm to fully enjoy the experience. The cost is R125 per person, and online bookings are essential. Don’t forget your headlamp for the moonlit hike back through the forest!

L’Avenir Wine Estate near Stellenbosch hosts the Blooming Trail Run, presented by Sportsmans Warehouse, on Sunday November 17.

Enjoy scenic 6km or 11km routes through vineyards, orchards and wildflower-filled trails. This fast, fun course offers stunning views of the Cape Winelands, perfect for a morning run or walk with family and friends.

Registration opens at 7.15am. Pre-entries close on Friday November 15, with entry fees starting at R150. Childlren under 18 can enter for just R60 (online only). Medals for all finishers, and prize draws for wine, vouchers, and more.
