Run4Schools soccer and netball league kicks off

Cascade and Imperial primary schools’ under-14 soccer sides gather for a group photo in last year’s edition of the Run4Schools league.

The Run4Schools (R4S) under-14 soccer and netball leagues kick off at Alpine Primary School, in Beacon Valley, Northwood Primary in Woodlands and Cornflower Primary in Lentegeur, today, Wednesday August 21, at 2.30pm.

Established in 2022, th R4S inter-schools league was initially limited to the four schools where the Run4Schools sports programme is based - Alpine, Northwood, Tafelsig and Cascade primary schools - but has since expanded to include 13 schools registered for football and eight schools that signed up for netball.

Eight schools are taking part in this year’s Run4Schools netball league.

This year’s Run 4 Schools inter-schools soccer league kicks off at Alpine, Northwood and Cornflower primary schools at 2.30pm, today, Wednesday August 21.
