Keandré goes for gold

Keandré Kock captured at Cape Town International Airport ahead of her departure to Namibia for the Africa Zone 6 Region 5 karate championships.

Keandré Kock, 14, from Strandfontein, and a member of Karate Satori in Colorado Park, won gold at the Africa Zone 6 Region 5 karate championships, in Swakopmund, in Namibia, at the weekend.

A Grade 9 pupil at San Souci Girls’ High School, in Claremont, Keandré, was the only fighter from Mitchell’s Plain, who attended the championships.
