The fifth and final week of the Hollywoodbets and Kaapse Klopse Karnival Association (KKKA) stadium competitions took place at Athlone Stadium on Saturday February 3.
Following last week’s Section One finals, which saw West London All Stars crowned champions, it was was time for the Section Two Finale troupes to take centre stage.
Teams taking part in Saturday’s finals, were Playaz Inc., Juvie Boy Entertainers, Ashwin Willemse Orient, TV Stars, Manenberg Superstars, Original D6 Hanover Minstrels, Wesbank Entertainers and Mitchells Plain Young Tycoons.
The categories adjudicated at the weekend were: Juvenile Combined Chorus, Adult Coon Song, Best Band and Group Song categories.
At the end of the night, Lentegeur’s Juvie Boys were crowned Section Two winners.
