Karate students impress at novice tournament

Students from the Kyokushin-kan karate dojos in Woodlands and Portland performed well at a recent tournament hosted by Shihan Hennie Bosman, stuntman and chairman of Kyokushin Africa, at Welgemoed Primary in Bellville.

More than 100 competitors took part in the tournament, featuring a novice section for all white and purple belt karateka and a championship division for green, brown and black belt students.
