With Eid ul Adha just a few days away, many Muslims the world over are readying themselves to celebrate this auspicious occasion. In the Islamic faith, Eid ul Adha marks the peak of the Hajj pilgrimage.
The day commemorates Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) and his obedience to his creator and willingness to sacrifice his son on the Almighty’s command. However, after Ibrahim submitted to his Lord’s will, his son was instead replaced by a great sacrifice.
