Cedar Gymnastics Club shines at national championships

Cedar Gymnastics Club's senior team won gold at last week's national championships in Centurion.

Cedar Gymnastic Club squad members gave a good account of themselves at last week’s national championships in Centurion, winning gold, silver, and bronze in various divisions. Cedars' two teams entered into the competition, were the only ones representing Western Province at the national Gym4All championships.

The club’s  Voyagers team represented the province for the first time and clinched Gold in the Gym4All championship. Not to be outdone, Cedar’s Tribal team, the club’s seniors, executed a flawless routine to claim gold overall. The club also came away with a silver and  two bronze medals at the aerobics championship which was held in Mafikeng.
