Rocklands-based Stanturf United are among the Cape Town qualifiers advancing to this year’s Bayhill under-19 Premier Cup competition, following the weekend’s round robin phase at William Herbert sports ground in Wynberg. A 3-2 win against Rygersdal and two goalless draws against Vasco Da Gama and Ulana Academy was enough to see them through the tournament proper, due to be played at Erica Park, in Belhar, over the Easter period. Stanturf, along with host club Bayhill, will fly the flag for Mitchell’s Plain at this year’s tournament.
