“Mama Hendricks turns 80”, (Plainsman, August 31) refers.
After nine months of illness, we are sad to say our loving mama Stella passed away Wednesday September 28.
She recently celebrated her 80th birthday by giving to the community, close friends as a request from her to her children.
Her wish was to see her 80th birthday and through the grace of God it was granted to her. She lived her life to the fullest and we the children had the privilege to fulfil her wish. Gracefully God granted us a month and five days after her birthday which we could have spent with her.
Last but not least we the family would like thank Lameez, the home-based caring nurses, Lentergeur Hospital for taking good care of mama and also for those who supported her during the time of her sickness may the lord bless you abundantly.
She will greatly and truly be missed by her children , grandchildren and great grandchildren family and friends and the community.
There will be a memorial service on Thursday October 6, she will be laid to rest the Saturday October 8.
