My car was stolen on Friday November 12 at 2.43am. I had to call the commander on Monday November 15.

The detective in question cannot drive so he has to wait for an Uber to take his docket.

I was promised that he would meet me the next day.

I cancelled all matters and I am still waiting. Not only is SAPS corrupt, they are hopeless.

I served in SAPS, became a commissioned officer, held the rank of Captain, received the Silver Class commendation for bravery - saving lives in a bomb explosion.

I’m one of the first to graduate at the SA police academy in Paarl, to receive my OMC1 diploma, which was facilitated by Stellenbosch University.

I worked at Manenberg, Grassy Park, Hout Bay and SAPS project management.

The new ANC government offered me the post of station commander, which I refused respecting my current station commander senior superintendent.

I served my country and our people well.

I’m sad to wait more than six days for a detective yet I have reported the matter to the head of detectives at Lentegeur police station.

How sad.

I reported this President Cyril Ramaphosa, Premier Alan Winde, various members of parliament and Mitchell’s Plain police station commander Brigadier Cass Goolam.

This office can confirm that a case of theft of a motor vehicle is being investigated.

The vehicle was circulated on the vehicle systems, so should the vehicle be tested anywhere, it will come up as stolen.
