Dream Again Foundation and 9 Miles Project recently hosted a career day for 20 children at the 9 Miles club house at Strandfontein Pavillion.
Officers from the City of Cape Town's traffic services and law enforcement department shared valuable life lessons with the children, as well as road safety tips.
Dale van Staden, community liaison officer for Dream Again Foundation, commended the officers for their service.
"Our community needs more men and women like these officers who want to change our community. The one thing that stood out was a learner asking about putting up shacks. The law enforcement officer explained beautifully and could make it clear enough for the learner to understand," he said.
