Lentegeur police confiscated drugs with an estimated street value of about R100 000 from a Woodlands property on Wednesday November 20, following a tip-off from the public.
Police officers found a toiletry bag with 616 packets of methamphetamine (tik) and 100 heroin straws stashed inside a dirt bin on the property.
One man was arrested and appeared at the Mitchell’s Plain Magistrate’s Court on Friday November 22.
Last week’s drug bust, came just six days after Lentegeur police’s crime prevention unit searched another Woodlands property and discovered 600 mandrax tablets and 58 9mm bullets on Thursday November 14.
