Spine Road High School has done it again. In 2015 they wrote themselves into the history books for being the first Mitchell’s Plain school to achieve a 100 percent matric pass rate.
This year, in addition to an overall 100% matric pass rate, the school’s Class of 2017 also achieved 100 percent pass rates for mathematics and history.
While Mondale High School, in Portland, had a pass rate of 98.6 percent, Portland High School, down the road, took a close third place with a 96.5 percent pass rate.
For more details of the bachelor passes and what pupils will be studying this year look out for our first edition of Plainsman for the year, on Wednesday January 10.
