Thousands of people flocked to the city centre on “Tweede Nuwe Jaar”, Monday January 2 to catch a glimpse of this year’s Hollywoodbets Cape Town Street Parade. The minstrel march did not take place for the past two years due to Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, but this year, Cape Town welcomed back one it’s favourite events on the calender.
