Ward 82 Kilimanjaro Seniors Club held a gender-based violence and senior abuse awareness event on Tuesday November 29 at the Kilimanjaro civic centre.
Beatrice Leng, chairperson of Thusanang Community Development said it’s important to create awareness around every abuse.
“16 Days of Activism is an important time to bring this to light. Violence and abuse is everyone’s business especially if our neighbours are affected,” she said.
