Beacon Valley pensioners Sharifa and Abduragmaan Adams treated about 30 children from the area to a makeover, hot dogs, drinks and party packets on Saturday November 9.
The couple bought each child new clothing items with the help of donations from local people and businesses, including Duwayne Jacobs from the National Coloured Congress, Star Security Services in Eastridge and Traders Clothing in Promenade.
“I want to thank everyone who made donations towards this special makeover for the kids in our community, as well as our team of volunteers from the An-Nsar Foundation. We could not have done this without them,” said Ms Adams.
