Beacon Hill High School held their matric ball for the first time at their school on Friday June 24.
Teacher Shariefa Gabriels said she and her team raised over R30 000 to assist over 40 pupils to pay for their matric ball tickets.
"The community sponsored dresses, suits and car clubs jumped on board. They met up at SuperQuik Liberty Promenade to show off the cars with the pupils. Make-up artists also assisted us and were at hand for the pupils who wished to make use of their services for free. We appreciate the parents and all those who've helped us get to this point.“
