Hundreds of Muslim women dressed in pink participated in the annual Pink Hijab Day at Masjidul Quds in Gatesville on Tuesday, October 28.
Masjidul Quds Institute, Cape Town, a local radio station, and the Islamic Medical Association of South Africa (IMASA) Western Cape branch hosted the breast cancer awareness initiative, themed "Together We Rise, In Faith We Heal."
October marked Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
