Spine Road High matriculant Gabby-Lee Davids made a spectacular entrance to her matric ball on Friday, October 10, arriving in a helicopter. The event, held at the school in Mitchell’s Plain, was a moment she described as a dream come true.
Gabby-Lee said the experience was more than just making an entrance; it represented what’s possible for young people in her community. “Growing up in Mitchell’s Plain, I’ve learned that dreams can become reality with dedication and belief in yourself,” she said.
Her helicopter arrival symbolised ambition, hope, and celebration, showing that no dream is too big to pursue, she said.
