Woodlands Soccer Club treats local groups on Spring Day

Community organisations from across Mitchell's Plain were treated to a gathering at Weltevreden Hall in Rocklands on Sunday, September 1, the first day of spring. The event was hosted by Wayne Carsen from Woodlands Soccer Club, who invited several groups that serve their communities. Guests were treated to food and refreshments. Gabieba Rademeyer, chairperson of WWSG Organisation, said the event was a way to recognise the hard work of local organisations. “We want to thank Wayne Carsen for going the extra mile to give us a special treat,” she said.
