On Friday, July 18, members of Lentegeur police celebrated Mandela Day by spending their 67 minutes at the Montclair Communicare Centre.
Officers rolled up their sleeves to pick up litter and clean the facility, bringing smiles and gratitude from the elderly residents.
The initiative was led by SAPS and warmly applauded by the staff and residents of the Communicare Centre, said Lentegeur police spokesperson, Navon Van Houten.
