The Deen Louw Foundation is hosting its third "Feed The Music” fundraising event at Utophia Café & Lounge in Ottery on Friday, July 18 at 3pm.
The line-up comprises Jason Opheas, Lucretia Nel, Queen B, Chad Kennedy, Carmen Gie, Errodene aka Lady E, Lesley Kleinsmith, Zubair Petersen, Beyoncé Davids, Unathi, Iekraam, Carmen Xclusive, John Williams, and Craig Jordaan.
According to Deen Louw, the foundation's founder, the event aims to raise funds for a custom-built food truck.
Mr Louw said that having a mobile kitchen will enable the foundation to travel to remote and underserved areas, prepare meals on-site, and serve more people with greater impact.
"Every ticket purchased and every donation made for "Feed The Music Third Edition" brings us closer to our food truck dream.
"By supporting this event, people are directly investing in a future where fewer people go to bed hungry, empowering our foundation to expand our reach and provide a lifeline to those who need it most," he said.
Tickets are R100. For more information contact 072 270 4421.
