Celebrating the future: Mitchell's Plain policing sub district honours its interns

The Mitchell's Plain policing sub district's Women's Network recently hosted an appreciation ceremony for all 68 interns spread across the district, which comprises Mitchell's Plain, Lentegeur, Strandfontein, Athlone, Lansdowne, Philippi, Grassy Park and Steenberg police stations.
Sub district commander Brigadier Mark Hartzenberg encouraged the interns to embrace every opportunity to grow and develop themselves professionally.

"Arise and take your seat at the table. You must shine where you are. No one will shine on your behalf," he said.
"See this internship as an opportunity to discover and fulfil your purpose," Brigadier Hartzenberg added.
Athlone police station interns and officers attended an appreciation ceremony for interns, which was organised by the Mitchell's Plain policing sub district's Women's Network on 27 June.
