RLabs bags another award

The Reconstructed Living Labs (RLabs) team with their SA Future Trust Social Entrepreneur Award 2024 in Westridge.

RLabs's co-found Marlon Parker receives the SA Future Trust Social Entrepreneur Award 2024 from Jonathan Oppenheimer, executive chairman of Oppenheimer Generations. Co-founder Rene Parker, not pictured was also at the the event in Rosebank Johannesburg, on Wednesday July 24.

Marlon Parker, co-founder of Reconstructed Living Labs (RLabs), in Westridge, received the SA Future Trust Social Entrepreneur Award 2024 in Johannesburg last Wednesday, July 24.

The award recognises outstanding social entrepreneurs who have made a significant impact through their innovative ventures and shown dedication to addressing societal challenges.

The award-winning non-profit company, initially based in Athlone and who have broke ground in Westridge, offers community-building training and consultancy services.

The award celebrates individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to creating positive change while pursuing their passions.

Mr Parker and co-founder Rene Parker have established a thriving organisation that cultivates hope, creativity and collaboration.

Rlabs House will open its doors for its second anniversary of First Thursday at 38 Silverhurst Street, in Westridge, tomorrow, August 1 between 5.30pm and 8pm.

The evening is themed “Where Art and Hope meet”.
