Bringing stories to life

Staff Reporter|Published 1 year ago

Imperial Primary School pupils and teachers arrived at the Beacon Valley school dressed as book characters, bringing stories to life on World Book Day, Tuesday April 23. Librarians from the Mitchell’s Plain Town Centre library also came dressed in character. Librarian Anelisa Qina said it helped children to express their personal reading choice in a more playful manner. “Heartfelt appreciation to Imperial Primary School. Let us continue and hold hands on spreading the love for reading,” she said.
