The Tafelsig West sub-forum and neighbourhood watch hosted a Women's Day event to celebrate community leaders. They recognised women for their sacrifices in the communities to keep them safe. They were treated to a three-course meal and gift bag and entertained by the Youth of Rotaract Club, Mitchell's Plain. The guest speakers were Colonel Cleo Arnoldus of SAPS, Veronique Williams, vice-chairperson of Mitchell's Plain Community Policing Forum and Missing Persons and Qina Mhlali.
