Portland Educare pupils are dressed for success.
Portland Educare pupils arrived at school dressed in their professional attire for career day on Wednesday May 17.
Principal Priscilla Pelston called on parents to help lay the foundation for their children who had big dreams.
Pupil Keagan Genti, 4, an aspiring farmer from Lentegeur, even had mint from the garden, which had been harvested that morning.
Children dressed as farmers, air hostesses, sports people, ballerinas, doctors, nurses, an astronaut, and lawyers.
Kylie Rhode’s mom, Yolande, who is an attorney explained that her profession entailed fighting for people’s rights, and against danger.
“You have to read a lot and do well at school,” she said.
Kylie, 4, came dressed in a robe, similar to those worn by advocates and attorneys.
