Food and toys

Tafelsig children received food and toys ahead of Christmas. This followed an appeal by Darul Sabr (House of Patience), in Honolulu Street last year, in their Share-a-Toy Christmas donation drive (“Share a toy this Christmas”, Plainsman November 17).

The Tafelsig house has been doing community outreach work for more than 15 years and had appealed to the public to support the toy drive.
