Eastridge children keep field clean

Eastridge children helped Aqeel Fransman clean the field on Sunday December 12.

An Eastridge boy is continuing to make sure a field in his community is clean and free of dumping.

On Sunday December 12 Aqeel Fransman was at it again - determined to make it his “field of dreams”.

Aqeel Fransman from Eastridge makes sure the field in his street is cleaned.

And he was grateful for the help he received from other children in the community.

“Thank you to each and everyone who helped - every boy and girl,” he said. “We should continue to stand together as one, especially during the festive season. We will continue to keep our community clean and we would like to meet with our new mayor to come to Eastridge Mitchell's Plain, to support the work we’ve been doing.”
