Mary-Ann Fortuin, 15, from Beacon Valley, who went missing earlier this month, has been found unharmed in the Northern Cape.
The Woodville Primary School pupil was missing for three weeks (Beacon Valley girl still missing, ‘Plainsman Wednesday October 27).
Her guardian Martha Rezant said the news reached her on Sunday October 31 that Mary-Ann had been found. “I am happy that she was found and have peace of mind that she is okay. Police are looking into how her disappearance came about but she is okay,” she said.
Mitchell's Plain SAPS spokesperson Ian Williams confirmed that Mary-Ann was found in the Northern Cape unharmed.
