Merino Block Watch and RLabs Westridge celebrate Youth Day

The Westridge youth with the Merino Block Watch on their annual Youth Day awareness walk.
The Merino Block Watch and the RLabs Westridge team celebrated Youth Day with an awareness walk, information sessions and entertainment shows.
The RLabs youth team spoke to the young girls about some of the challenges they face, as well as some of the social ills in the community.
Some rappers performed at the event and the youngsters were each given a food parcel and party packet, said chairperson of the Merino Block Watch, Bonita Wood.
