Youth trip to Cape Town CBD

Lentegeur-based organisations EduBiz Foundation and Q Rock Foundation collaborated to take more than 30 youth, from Wellington, on a trip to the SA Jewish Museum, Company’s Garden and the Cape Town city centre.

Two Lentegeur non-government organisations collaborated to take more than 30 youth, from Wellington, on a trip to the SA Jewish Museum, the Company’s Garden and the Cape Town city centre on Tuesday June 8.

EduBiz Foundation and Q Rock Foundation have been hard at work taking Mitchell’s Plain youth to other communities and parts of the city and bringing people from outside to support and experience life in their township.

Quinton Swartz, musician and founder of the Q Rock Foundation, said they regularly had teams going out of and coming into Mitchell’s Plain.

“It is all about bringing people together - showcasing their talents, supporting their communities, new experiences and forging relationships,” he said.
