Lace Up for Change held a street boeka in Fir Street, Tafelsig on Saturday May 8. It was organised by the non-profit organisation’s youth volunteers.

“It was a beautiful, peaceful and loving environment on the night. True to the values of Ramadaan, sharing and caring for the less fortunate,” said Irafaan Abrahams, the organisation’ svice-chairman

Children were given lucky packets, fruit, boeber, and sandwiches after the breaking of fast.

And an extra 800 people from the community received warm akhni, snacks, sandwiches and fruit to take home.
