Tweede Nuwe Jaar

Thousands of people gathered in the city centre on Monday for the colourful minstrel road march, a Cape custom held annually
on January 2, which is also known as Tweede Nuwe Jaar.

Ciara Neethling, Miranda Inglis, Raa-Iqah le Fleur, Nazrene le Fleur, Tyrique Erasmus and Courtney Abrahams had a ball at the annual Tweede Nuwejaar minstrel road march on Monday January 2.

Having fun are Musa and Mymoena de Vos, Marwiyyah Omar, Zayaan Lewis and Shamierah and Salahoedien de Vos, from Tafelsig.
