The Cape Town Gospel Choir had been silent for two and a half years, first due to Covid, and then due to the loss of rehearsal space and funding. In September, the choir found its voice again and started rehearsing at Mowbray Presbyterian Church.
Cape Town Gospel Choir will host a praise concert on Sunday November 19 at Protea Valley Church, Van Riebeeckshof, Bellville, at 7pm.
The event will feature a range of musical styles, from contemporary Christian to classical and different styles of Gospel, and will be directed by artistic director Colin Peckham and choirmaster Phil Robinson.
Tickets are available on a donation basis from www.originsa.org. The suggested donation is R75 but can be more or less. If people need a free ticket they can call the office on 021 825 9903.
