Cape Town Big Band Jazz Festival at Baxter

The Cape Town Big Band Jazz Festival takes place from Wednesday May 28 to Saturday May 31 at the Baxter Concert Hall in Rondebosch.
Big band music will be delivered by young musicians from around Cape Town.
The festival, founded by the late Dennis Barr, is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
This year, it showcases big bands from junior and high schools, as well as university and community big bands, and an all-star alumni band led by Professor Mike Campbell.
Mike Rossi from Italy and Steve Waterman from the UK will be performing with the Alumni Big Band as well as undertaking music workshops in the community.
Tickets range from R100 for pupils, students and senior citizens, to R160 for adults.
