Marsha rocks festival stage
Plainsman reporter Marsha Bothma, previously from Beacon Valley but who now lives in Bellville, and a former pupil of Oval North, was among a number of artists from across the city who took to the main stage at the weekend’s DStv Mitchell’s Plain Festival, at Westridge Gardens.

The former Oval North High School pupil entertained the crowd with her own compositions, in English and Afrikaans, including her hit single Stronger a former number one on Heart FM’s SA Top 10 and CCFM and the online radio station Awakening. The song is currently playlisted on more than 50 radio stations and on all digital platforms.
