A Streetcar Named Desire on stage

The Luitingh Alexander Musical Theatre Academy (LAMTA) will stage Tennessee Williams’ drama, A Streetcar Named Desire, at Theatre on The Bay from Wednesday August 14 until Saturday August 24. The production, set in New Orleans in the 1940s, stars Emily Child, pictured, who will be joined by a line-up of LAMTA students including Sarah Wolhuter as Stella and Dylan Janse van Rensburg as Stanley. It is directed by Professor Chris Weare with set and costume design by Niall Griffin. Book through Webtickets. PICTURE: Claude Barnardo
