Advance Edukos Foundations is having a roaming holiday throughout the school holidays.
The programme started on Monday December 19 last year and runs until Friday January 13.
Their first two programmes were held at at Rocklands civic centre and Bergwagter turf, both in Rocklands.
To date they’ve reached 200 children and aim to reach another 100 over the next two weeks. This week they are in Bayview and next week they’re in Strandfontein.
Activities included indigenous games, board games, chess, outdoor activities, clay jewellery, woodwork, clay sculpting, soccer, singing, dancing and many more.
This week in Bayview, they’re doing origami, resin fridge magnets, resin jewellery, outdoor games, soccer, to name a few.
This programme provides a safe space for children from 10am to 5pm daily and includes lunch and snacks. For more information call Wendy Abrahams on 078 141 3183.
